Product Description

Pneumatic Forged Steel Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve

Pneumatic Forged Steel Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve

Pneumatic Actuated ball valve is designed with an upper and lower stem fixed valve core (shaft supported) and a movable sealing seat. More stable work. Equipped with automatic compensation function, bi-directional sealed valve seats have great shear force and self-cleaning function when rotating without gap between them.

For the full bore valve, the bore diameter i.e hole in the ball has the same internal diameter as the pipe, whereas a reduced bore valve has a smaller bore diameter than the internal diameter of the pipework it is on. Full-port ball valves are used where their low flow resistance is of value such as on pump suction pipes, where a pressure drop can affect pump performance.

Product Features

⚙️
1. Pneumatic Actuation:

Allows for precise, automatic control of fluid flow, reducing the need for manual intervention and improving system automation.

✂️
2. Shear Force Resistance:

The V-incision metal seat design allows the valve to handle fiber and small solid particles, such as pulp, without compromising sealing performance.

🎯
3. Precise Flow Control:

Provides precise regulation and reliable positioning, with roughly equal percentage flow characteristics and an impressive 100:1 adjustable ratio.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is the advantage of a trunnion-mounted design? A: The trunnion-mounted design uses an upper and lower stem to fix the valve core, providing greater stability and a more reliable seal under high-pressure conditions compared to floating ball valves.
Q2: Can this valve handle media with solid particles? A: Yes, the V-incision metal seat design provides a shear force that can handle fibers and small solid particles like pulp, maintaining a clean sealing surface.
Q3: What is the difference between hard and soft seals? A: Soft seals (like PTFE) offer excellent bubble-tight shutoff at lower temperatures (up to 180ºC), while hard seals are designed for higher temperature applications (up to 300ºC).
Q4: How does pneumatic actuation improve system performance? A: It allows for automated remote control, faster response times, and precise positioning, which is critical for industrial automation and flow regulation.
Q5: What body materials are available for corrosive environments? A: We offer stainless steel options such as CF8, CF8M, and CF3M, which provide excellent resistance to corrosion in various chemical and industrial applications.
