RPZ Valve
This is an oil hardened steel, which is universally used by the ball and roller bearing industry. This steel has very good hardness, very good physical characteristics and excellent wear resistance.

| Step 1: Heading | Ball blanks are cold headed from rolls of wire. |
| Step 2: Flashing | Rolling balls between two hard alloy plates to remove slight bands and small protrusions. |
| Step 3: Heat Treat | Heating balls to a high temperature in furnace and quenching in a liquid bath. |
| Step 4: Rough Grind | Rolling balls between a fixed iron plate and a hard fire-grit grinding wheel. |
| Step 5: Cleaning | Final production operation to clean the finished balls and add a shiny luster. |
| Step 6: Inspection | Gauged and visually inspected to ensure customer specifications are achieved. |
